Sober Companion Season 1 Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer

If you’ve seen The Wrong Missy on Netflix, you know that Lauren Lapkus’s character is one of a kind, hilarious, and clever and that she should be included in all other comedies. If you did not, CBS has you covered with the forthcoming series Sober Companions, in which she is anticipated to appear.

A series written by Gracie Glassmeyer and David Rosenthal, travel companion follows the lives of an intoxicated lady and her travel buddy. Fox originally prepared a pilot for a multi-camera comedy with an all-male ensemble, but the idea never advanced beyond the pilot stage. Now that it has been revamped to include only female protagonists, we hope the series will be released shortly.

Sober Companion Season 1 Plot: What will happen?

The series will chronicle the life of Eliza, a lady battling alcoholism. Despite being an alcoholic hot mess, she co-owns a bookshop cum bar in New Orleans with her uncle. In addition to being humorous and quick-witted, Eliza has difficulty obeying regulations, which also brings her to the forefront. Her alcoholism becomes so severe that the court is compelled to assign her a Sober Companion, Shelley.

Shelley is ordered to live with Eliza in the same residence and be with her at all times to prevent her from resuming her reckless drinking. Shelley manages to persuade Eliza to remain sober while depriving her of her sanity despite her unorthodox behavior and excessive excitement.

Sober Companion Season 1 Cast: Who will be in?

Gracie Glasmeyer and David Rosenthal are the authors of the series Sober Companion. The cast of the series was revealed on the same day that CBS ordered the series. Famous for her role in the Halston series, Krysta Rodriguez is slated to portray Eliza, the drunken bookshop owner. Lauren Kapkus is supposed to portray Shelley, and Eliza is tasked with keeping her in control. Netflix’s the wrong missy is the program in which Lapkus has portrayed her most recognizable character. She has a natural sense of humor, and we expect the series to be as amusing as advertised.

Sober Companion Season 1 Trailer: When will it come?

As upsetting as it is, we must realize that a trailer for the series has not yet been produced, and nobody knows when the trailer will be released. The series was announced earlier this year, but it may be some time before we get a glimpse of the two comedians.

Given that the initial effort to bring the series to our screens in 2014 failed, it is reasonable to be anxious about the series’ eventual release. You may view another series that Lauren Kapkus has featured in the interim. Netflix’s The Wrong Missy is a wonderful show for boosting your mood.
